COMMUNITY SERVICE · PERSONALLY PROVIDED BY RAIN
Time and skills, offered with care.
Animal-welfare NGOs, mental-health NGOs and Buddhist NGOs / organisations are exempt from Rain’s service fees by default. An organisation may voluntarily offer a payment or honorarium on its own initiative; it is never required, expected or a condition of access.
Other NGOs are considered case by case for a free, subsidised or paid scope. Rain confirms the arrangement before any work starts.
Three ways to structure free support
The tier sets the time and scope, not the worth of the cause. Every accepted tier below carries RM0 Rain service fees for the automatically exempt categories. Availability and an achievable brief still need to be agreed.

CSR 1 · A clear next step
RM0
Up to 1 hour per accepted brief
One 45-minute online discussion and 15 minutes for a short action summary. Useful for choosing equipment, reviewing a page, planning an announcement or identifying a manageable next step.

Request this supportWhat if the project is larger than the tier?
For animal-welfare, mental-health and Buddhist organisations, the default service-fee exemption continues. Rain may phase the work, arrange a later slot, agree a larger voluntary scope, or decline work he cannot accommodate. Exceeding a tier does not automatically create a charge or require an honorarium.
Does free service include equipment and outside costs?
The exemption covers Rain’s own accepted work, including planning, design, configuration and procurement assistance. Hardware, printing, fabrication, shipping, hosting, paid software, hired crew, external contractors, venue hire and actual travel expenses are separate. The organisation buys directly or approves those costs before they are incurred. There is no paid-service travel surcharge on accepted CSR work; only pre-approved actual expenses if needed.
Who can request support?
A representative authorised by an animal-welfare, mental-health or Buddhist organisation can send its name, public website or brief description, their role, the beneficiaries, task and timing. A credible informal community group can explain its work; lack of a polished website is not a barrier to consideration. Eligibility and the accepted scope are confirmed before starting.
Work for commercial sponsors or businesses is assessed separately, even when associated with an NGO. For other NGOs, explain the public benefit and resources available so Rain can consider a free or subsidised tier.
Is this mental-health treatment or a temple service?
This programme offers Rain’s practical creative, digital and technical skills. It does not provide clinical treatment or represent an endorsement by any organisation he serves. Buddhist teaching, Dhamma sharing and related community guidance remain free, separate from paid non-clinical life coaching.
What happens to an offered honorarium?
Any payment is entirely voluntary and discussed separately. Rain may accept it or choose to donate it back. No donation receipt or tax-deduction entitlement is promised by this programme.
